just had the best camp ever. like totally! it was e BEST!ADVENTURE CAMP 21stdaywasnt really expecting much when i went for this camp.so jus dragged my bags to suntec then to e bus, ferry, then to e camp resort. the resort was really not bad! praise jesus! bunked with jiemin glenys n heidi. belle was also supposed to bunk with us but wanted to change room. dunno why. haha. but that leaves us more space man! yay! lol
had jungle trekking, it was called forest grump.it was REALLY tiring. haha. had to find this key thingy and then run to e gate where we will get into this van which would bring us to a
secret place.lols. then we had to find nick which was pretty funny cos he was hiding in one coner of a coffeeshop wearing a hawaiian tshirt and hat. lols. then had to go into e forst to search for check points. walked like..dunno how many kms, but got to really bond with my grp ppl. so it was good. =) . had field cooking at e beach too.. good food. haha. another grp had brought frying pan and some sauce la. so they had fried chicken. lols. my grp fried our chicken with tuna cos e tuna can inside got oil. lols. had to walk back to e resort after that. was damn dark la. and e road was really REALLY long. but was able to go back anyway. =)
the best part of e day was e praise and worship and sermon. could really feel His prescence there.
pastor dan shared wayne's testmony. it was so so so touching..nearly everybody cried la. you could really feel how strong God's love is through the testimony
mm. lets see. how to say.
Wayne is i think sec1 this yr. yup. he has celebral palsy (i THINK thats what its called) so he is kinda slow la.
anyway. he had really been looking foward to adcamp 2. w/o fail, he would always shake pastor dan's hand whenever he see him and say " hi pastor dan, there is **weeks **days left to adventure camp". one could see that he was really looking foward to the camp.
however, due to his condition, pastor dan knew it is really hard for wayne to go for e camp as the camp was not going to be easy with all e running and walking around.pastor tried to look everywhere to see who was free enough to help wayne throughout the whole camp but nobody was free. as the days drew near to adcamp, pastor dan had to tell e bad news to wayne's mom that wayne could not go for the camp.
the next day which was a sunday, pastor dan saw wayne again. this time he could see that wayne had been crying through the whole night. wayne went over to pastor dan, shook hands and said "hello pastor dan. i cannot go to adventure camp"
wah. at that time pastor dan's heart broke. he held wayne's hand and prayed a small prayer with him saying that God is a good God and to just believe. wayne then prayed "Jesus please make Wayne a good boy so he could go to adventure camp" (T_T)
the following next few days, pastor dan went to preach at a funeral when he met this guy(forgot the name). Pastor talked to him and asked him whether he was free to go to adventure camp. to his surprise the guy said that he could and when asked whether he could talke care of wayne he also agreed. in fact the guy was very happy that pastor dan would trust him with wayne. can u see this? God did not just only put anybody to take care of wayne but someone who was happy that he was trusted with wayne.
the next few days, pastor dan tried desperately to contact wayne and his mom but could not get through. only until arnd 2,3 days b4 camp he contacted wayne's mom and told her the good news. when asked abt wayne, his mom told pastor dan that wayne has been very happy the last few days.
pastor dan was then puzzled as wayne could not have possibly known about being able to go to camp. but the reason was beautiful. wayne said that jesus had told him " Do not worry. Let me take care of it" so wayne jus..did not worry.
and wayne was able to go to adventure camp2
wahh.. after pastor dan shared this testimony, everybody was crying la. it was so touching. God's love was so strong. it was wonderful!
i think we ended praise and worship at 12 bah.
2nddayfood in e resort was good. haha. after having breakfast had praise and worship again!! it was really good too!!! praise and worship sessions should be longer man! coach lily also won e boast-abt-ur-platoon agme! whoo! delta rocks!

had games after that. didnt get slimed at all! hahaha. but i think i missed out some fun bcos of that. o well. at least i dont have to throw my clothes away. haha. the games were pretty good. there was trustfall, lemonade, some relay game and another game at e swimming pool. haha. was fun.
had praise and worship after that again!! =)
it was damn good, jumping arnd and all. haha. praise jesus!!

during dunno which praise and worship session, there was e part when we were singing when jer liang played e passion of christ. wah. cried again.felt so touched. JESUS I LOVE YOU!
3rddayhad praise and worship in e morning as well!
there was e anointing oil and all. it was great. coach kev and coach pat prayed for me. got slained. it felt reallly good.
had water war games after that. it was called..water you waiting for. lols
i was doing defending cos i didnt want run =P
but it was pretty boring at first la. jus sat at our base and
fa dai-ed. haha. that was until e leaders came. haha. the other groups also all allied against us. but it was fun la!
after that we played protect the MMs (mighty men) from e leaders. wah the leaders very rough sia. haha. but we won anyway! yay
went back to e bunk after that. showered off e sand and all then had campfire!
the leaders were made to jump arnd e campfire. it was damn funny!!! hahaha.
had a freak show after that! it was damn funny
there was e can-you-twist-your-arms-and-fit-your-head-through-it, the touch ur nose with ur tongue and make ur tongue look like a cauliflower thing, eat your feet, move your knee cap (it was damn gross), do e kallang wave with your tongue, be able to hum songs while doing sounds with your tongue, fit your fist into your whole mouth (nick can do that! it was GROSS!) haha. oh and constance couldmake her right eye up and left eye down. it was FEAKY! haha
went back to e bunk again after that. was supposed to shower but i played with the water gunhs with jiemin first. haha. we got totally wet again. then went to bath and then had praise and worship. it was great. again! wonderful! loved every minute of it~! Nick and anjo went up to sing! it was good! haha. i think praise and worship ended at arnd 2 plus again.
had a SuperD meeting at room 203 after that. it was fun, talkin sharing worshipping and all. haha. did pretty stupid things too. did the bimbo cheer. and the himbo cheer (oh, my god. i think i need WAX) LOL. daniel also did the titanic cheer in e macho way. lols. it was hilarious. ernie and alene both played e guitar. it was really good too. haha. mm. arnd 6:30 we went to watch sunrise. and we saw....the sky turn from dark blue to light blue. lols. we were at e wrong side!! so yes. it was dumb. went back to e bunk. most ppl were asleep liao. tried to pack my stuff, then jiemin woke up. haha. wanted to take my mp3 and go sit somewhere to stone. haha. took my pm3, went to e door, opened it. and it was raining! bleah.

but saw katie walking in e rain, so poor thing, she was stuck outside her bunk! haha. got her to come in. then we decided to sleep la. went to bed...and talked instead. haha. it was damn funny.then her bunkmate called so she went back at arnd 8 plus. then slept frm 8 to 9 plus lor.woke up. packed whats left over and went for breakfast. and then went onto e ferry. coach jayden was playing really lame games there. hahaha. took bus back to suntec..then took cab home. ah. good day. haha.
